In short

  • We keep in your browser only what the shop needs to work (sign-in, the cart, the language, your cookie choice) and the preferences you choose, such as the dark theme.
  • We use no statistics, advertising or social network cookies.
  • If we ever add any, we will ask you first, and nothing will start without your consent.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site leaves in your browser to remember something between pages or visits. Browsers have two similar places, localStorage and sessionStorage, which we treat the same way. The law (Romanian Law 506/2004, Article 4) requires your consent for everything kept there, except what is strictly necessary for what you asked for to work, such as signing in or the cart.

2. What we keep

The Market Impex Demo shop runs on the Vindesto platform, which sets these cookies for us. The list is complete:

The sign-in and session cookies are signed or encrypted, cannot be read by scripts on the page and are sent only over secure connections (HTTPS).

Everything above is either strictly necessary for you to sign in and order safely, or saved only when you press a button yourself. The law requires no consent for these (Romanian Law 506/2004, Article 4(6)), so the banner on your first visit only tells you what we keep. If we ever use statistics or advertising cookies, we will ask you first, with equally visible “Accept” and “Reject” buttons, and will not load them without your consent. We keep your choice for 6 months, separately for this shop.

4. How you control them

You can see what we keep at any time in the cookie settings, opened from the footer of any page or here:

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, you can no longer sign in and the cart no longer remembers products.
